BOGE are finalists for the MCI Awards

We are pleased to announce that we have been shortlisted as finalists for the 2019 MCI Awards, in two categories: Environmental/Energy Efficiency Award and Project of the Year.

The Motion Control Industry Awards are acknowledged as one of the leading events for the industrial industry. It recognises the achievements of those companies that achieve excellence in motion control technology.

Our HST has been nominated for the Environmental/Energy Efficiency award, supported by our work with Cranswick Foods, Milton Keynes. The Efficiency Award recognises the system which has made significant contribution to environmental issues. We were one of the first manufacturers to use high speed technology, which guarantees 20% less CO2 emissions than traditional compressors and energy usage in an idle state is less than 1.9% of nominal power.

Our nominated project for Project of the Year, was our work with Cranswick Foods, Hull. Project of the year recognises the most innovative and technically challenging motion control project, which has achieved or exceeded the clients original brief, in terms of success.

Cranswick Foods, came to us after recommendations from one of their sister companies. They had a plant which struggled to cope with the demand, particularly at peak times and multiple compressors sporadically across their plant.

We were able to provide them with a centralised system with high energy efficiency and plenty of standby capacity, which allowed them the opportunity to expand by up to 40% in the future.

We are delighted to be recognised for our achievements in not only manufacturing but customer solutions. National recognition such as this, makes us stand out from our competitors.

The MCI Awards ceremony takes place on 22nd May, in Solihull, with various attendees from across the UK. Stay tuned to find out if we win.
